and then it's Monday again...

Up at 5, 1/2 a bar to settle the rumbling. Trained arms this am with some single arm kb swings, push presses, plank rows, and ring rows with my feet up, so more of a plank- mid-air thing going on and it was hard....but cool.

8:00- trying 4 blocks today- still floundering a little between 3-4, trying to fnd my sweet spot. 3.5 oz. deli chicken, .75 oz. wedge of lf cheese (laughing cow swiss), peach, bluberries, oats with applesauce. That was great!

I am traveling today on business to Raleigh- I am a little concerned about Zoning and training while I am gone, but not as much as usual....I know that I will do the best I can and adapt. It's all about shifting on a dime, so I am taking a handy travel size Zone guide (thanks, girl) and plenty o' workout clothes...headed off to finish packing. I am headed to a 'Negotiation and Leadership Practices' training session- home Thursday night- YEA!

Lunch- 4 oz deli meat, broccoli (holy crap)...all I could do was about 1/2 blk, 1 apple, cuke, 8 macadamias

4:45- snack- egg whites, 1 oz deli meat, 1 macadamia.......then at 6PM 1/2 apple to make up for all of the freaking broccoli that I simply could not bear to eat. Won't choose raw brocc again any time soon....whew!

8:30- supper- 1.5 c. minestrone, dry ceasar with chicken, balsamic and EVOO, asparagus, strawberries (4 or 5)

10PM- 1/2 zb

night night

  1. Hi Sarah. Have a great trip . I have no doubt you will train and stay in the zone while your gone but good luck with it anyways! Thanks for the music info. I hope to have time to work on my blog some this week. I love your site music, pics and all. I am still trying to figure out what block I am too, going to try between 3 and 4 like you as 3 seems too little and 4 seems too much. Protein and fat not an issue its getting down all of those carbs!

  2. thanks for the support, Sarah! u r doing super, too. blogging it out really helps. i've tried maintaining a food diary before. is better with a support group.

Have a safe trip. Raleigh rocks. I got my first masters there. Chapel Hill is especially cool. Here's to staying in the zone while in the Old North State!

  3. Ok, I am simply amazed...I have absolutely zero idea what you are talking about, but I am still amazed. All I know is that you look amazing and beautiful and very happy...so it all must be working! But you really MUST sleep later than 5:00am!! Getting up ealier than that is not healthy for anyone.
