It's Friday!!

Up at 445- black coffee, this time half caff, stevia. WOD was a welcomed lighter day of a timed 1.5mi run...all I got to say is Kate Charles is fast like the wind. ROCK ON KATE! Gazelle. Few of us then worked on pull ups, hand stand push ups, and coach even got freaky with the inverted rope climb. FUN STUFF! Thanks Coach!

Early AM snack: 5AM-1B- 1/4c. egg whites, plum, 1/2 tsp. ab.
Breakfast 8AM- 4B- going with the theory of little fruit- 1c. egg whites, 1.5c. green beans, 1/2c. chickpeas, 1/2 grapefruit, 2 tsp. ab. Not your typical 'breakfast food' but it was good to me!

Pretty good morning, by 11:45 was ready to eat: McGregor Cafe for lunch: grilled chicken ceasar, lemon and EVOO, no croutons of course, minimal parm. I have to admit that I'm pretty sure I ate more than 4oz. of chicken, probably 6-7 oz....I was pretty hungry.....but actually LEFT some on the plate- that's a first! Came home to have 3B of chickpeas and tomatoes, a little bv and s&p. Carbs are a little limited here, but I got plenty of protein and good fat. 5-3-5
Added 1/2 tsp. ab.

445- Snack- just when I think I've got it down.....I just screwed up! :) Just had 1oz. chicken AND 1 wedge lf cheese (it was GREAT! but 2B p!) I was halfway thru the cheese when I realized it and by then it tasted too good to stop. Plus a nectarine, and 1/2tsp. ab. I am so going over my 15B today!
2-1-1....wait, hold on- I can fix it with a 3-4-4 din! Redemtion in mine.

7PM Supp- went 3-4-4; Boca burger(pretty good!), brocc&cauli mix, chopped salad, EVOO, 1/2 tsp ab.

Went ahead with a snack, 1B nectarine, string cheese, 1/2tsp.ab.

  1. Hey nice run! we're only a couple seconds apart. I told J I want to run with Kate, just to feel that pace and see how long I can hold it. I dont know where we could pick up 48 seconds though. Nice wod, felt really good after. Any ideas on dining out? I want to take Patty out 2nite but want to stay in the zone, what are your thoughts?

  2. What a great week! I am so sore from this weeks WOD's... its awesome. I am so glad you switched to our CrossFit... an inspiration you are... I love that you are part of our Fam now! And don't be so hard on yourself you are doing phenomenal on the Zone. OMG making progress with my oldest (he has been a difficult convert to the Zone)he called me before eating lunch today to discuss what he should have... that rocks! have a great friday night with your Mr.
