Monday already!

445- up and not as hungry, but snack of 1 egg white, 1/2 apple, 1/2 tsp. ab. Have reverted to half caff coffee. WOD was 10x1 push press, push jerk, split jerk. I felt a little shaky, like I didn't have much...but the split jerk enabled me to lift more. It was good to work on technique today.

8AM- 4-3-4: 2 egg whites, 2B turkey bacon, 1B brocc&eggplant leftovers, 1/2 grapefruit, 1/2 apple, 3 almonds, 1.5 tsp. pb. Came back to the 4thB of carb, 1/2 grapefruit. Tried to make it on 3B carb, but was hungry around 11AM.

1PM- Lunch- 3.5B chicken (had a slice of ham at the grocery :)), 1B salad w/ 1B bell pepper, 2.5c. brocc/cauli mix, 1.5c. eggplant (yes, again!), & 2 tsp. pb. This was a big one- even for me!

445-Snack- 1/2 zb. dark chocolate=happiness.

7PM- Din- 4B- 5oz. shrimp, 1.5 oz. deli chicken, 1B brocc, 1B eggplant, 1B salad, 1B strawberries, 2 tsp. pb. As you can see, I am not pained by eating the same thing over again....but I do like a little variety occasionally, so I will be switching it up this week, I feel.

Note: I can definitely tell a difference in my hunger level as I have upped the veggies, cut back on the fruit. For now, I am keeping fruit in my snacks and limiting it to 1B in meals. We'll see how that continues to work for me. Still very interested in playing with blocks as it pertains to post wod meals (higher carbs then) and also increasing my fat intake eventually to improve performance.

  1. Hi Sarah. I was so busy this weekend that I didn't have time to post until this am but I wanted to let you know the Lasagna was a huge hit and we ate it for two days. William and I will definately be making it again, thanks for the heads up on it! Have a great monday girl!

  2. Actually I am right there with you on the Seabass its just too fatty and I probably won't buy it again. I like a drier white fish like swordfish. If I am going to eat any excess fats/fatty foods its going to be in the form of a sweet... chocolate, cookies, cake YUM! Ahhh, but those delights will be few and far between!

  3. My hamstring has been tight for the last week and it seems to be creaping into my hip as of today. Gotta work that out ASAP. I actually did just fine this morning with eating my b-fast right away (actually while driving) not so safe. This afternoon I had 4 strawberries at 3pm and then my snack at 4:45pm and I seem to still be in the zone. I can totally tell the difference from last week being all tired to right now. So that's good. I am toally up for open gym I need to work on my pull ups and the split jerk. Thanks for pumping me up, I know I'm wayyy to hard on myself sometimes :)

  5. i have been hungry, too...need to eat more veggies/fruits and eat more period. am just entering the world of the block. yo! you and a re i both capircorns! rock. when is ur b-day? c u saturday? hmmm? thanx for the kudos for the run :)
