Murph Saturday

Up at 7- decided to try a 4B break. prior to Murph @ 9- had 2b canadian bacon, 2b egg whites, oatmeal and applesauce and slivered almonds. I felt fine (no nausea) but somewhere around rd. 7 of my 10-20-50's I hit a wall...could feel myself slowing down, getting heavy...of course, FATIGUE could have been a factor since Murph kicks my butt each and every time. Coach advice: maybe a 2b meal (more than a snack, but less that a full meal) would have been better....will definitely try that next time...

Lunch was not my best effort, but accurate: about noon: 1 zb, 2 oz. chicken, 1/2 apple, 1/2 oz. cheese, 1/2 c. raspberries. 3.5 fats.

Snack @ 2:45- peach, 2 shrimp, and 6 almonds.

DinDin- 6 oz. scallops, 1/2b. cauliflower, 1/2b. zucchini, 2b salad recipe with tomato, onion, and artichoke hearts, 1 c. raspberries w. cinnamon. Fat block with EVOO on salad with just lime juice and a little celery salt....delicious.

Snack- 9:00- 1/2 apple, 1/2 tsp pb, string cheese- a good one.

Great day, all in all. Murph was brutal and I am feeling it tonight, but I enjoyed the spirit in the air. I am where I belong!! Tomorrow will be a day of REST.

  2. So what are you thinking for the zone block before the workout? I'll have to play with this but I'm up for figuring this out. The 1/2 zone bar wasn't enough and that counts as 1 block right?
