Up as usual, coffee and snack: 1/2 grapefruit, hb egg, pb.
1-1-2

WOD: From CF Games '08: 5x 5 deadlifts (heavy), 10 burpees for time. We knew it was going to be nasty going into it. I backed off the Rx in the end- and I guess, in hind sight, a wise choice- although, I must say, initially- disappointed. I am over it now. WAY TO BE TO MY STRONG GIRL, MK! Rx'd @ 185lbs- 6:40. Smokin'. That would hold it's own in CA, girl.
As always, she was right there to get my mind right.

Breakfast8AM- 4B hb eggs, 3B oats, 2B sweet potatoes, 1/2B eggplant, 7B pb.

Headed to the Jersey Shore today for a long weekend- Pauly has fam there. We're excited- lots of cousins to see...committed to Zoning it as best as humanly possible. Will not make the WOD tomorrow, but will likely be running down the beaches of Stone Harbor....not bad for a day off.

Lunch1215- 2B deli chicken, 2 hb eggs, 1B brocc/leftover chopped salad, 13B pb. HEAVEN!!

Signing off for now, my peeps. Getting on a plane @ 4PM. Taking the laptop, so I can blog over the weekend. (I think there's some freakishness in there somewhere, but I choose to overlook it.)

Ended the day with a clean little salad with chicken. Really trying to cut carbs when I can, and rather compensate with fats. Except for....the big news is 2.5 beers...and I loved every block of it.

  1. GIRL YOU KNOW YOU ARE THE BOMB!!!You are so hard on yourself, but I must confess I am the same way. You are so strong with your little package, 100% muscle and so ripped. I just think your showing at 175lbs was unbeliveable. Next time you'll get your RXD. Just think 3 months ago you maxed out at 1 rep of 185. Today you killed it with 25 reps at 175. Girl that's huge, and you should be proud. You are SUPER STRONG and when you realize that, the sky will be the limit. Have so much fun this weekend, you deserve it! I'm gonna miss ya!!!
    Oh and I will ck out RW's website, thanks for the reminder on that, I've been meaning to.

  2. hey girl! have a great time this weekend! i'm so sad i won't be seeing you tomorrow morning. and just to echo MK...don't you dare think light of knocking out 25 reps at 175! you totally rock.

    good luck zoning it this weekend - i know you'll put in 110% effort on it just like you always do :)

  3. Have fun in Jersey... I know you will still work out even though you are on vacation (because thats what obsessive people like us do) so enjoy the change of scenery while your doing it! Good luck stayng in the Zone. Way to go on your deadlifts... so little yet so powerful you are... Added Henry's name to the announcements at SFX tonight so the whole school will be praying for him every morning... no such thing as too many prayers!

    i feel your pain. i am soooooooooooooooooooooooo hard on myself, in every way possible. i'm not at all surprised that like-minded peeps surround us, are part of our little crossfit team. i think that although this way of being can be detrimental (negative thinking, higher than high expectations of self), it also has great benefits and rewards. for one, we're all in this together. and we're all very positive and supportive peeps. that's pretty durn beneficial in my book.

    i've said this to about five of my peeps today, and am going to say it again here, because it's true and makes me smile:

    ...it's all part of life's rich pageant...
