5AM wake up call- 1/2 zb
Took note of wod, and committed to adapting the best way possible. Did the 'new' burpees, with leg raises since there isn't a pull-up bar here, and bw squats since there's no weights, either. Fitness room consists of 2 treadmills, 2 ellipticals, and a bike. Hit the elliptical for 30. Completely caught up on the Raleigh news now, also. Waiting for breakfast to be delivered- egg beaters, ham, and oatmeal...(which I am sure is NOT steel cut)...stay tuned for more adventures......
I have added my day to this post twice now, and got cut off before it gets saved, so my frustration level is pretty high right now. Let it suffice to say that this has been a challenging day.
OK I have calmed down. What happens when you have your carb blocks an hour after breakfast? Oatmeal did not come with break, but later and I ate it anyway! Plus I had already eaten the other half of my zone bar. Breakfast was skewed, for sure.
Made it to lunch @12:45- chicken fajita salad with veggie skewers. BV and EVOO on salad. Pretty good, but possibly a little heavy on fat due to fajita veggies.
A little worried about din, but will do the best I can. (Capitol City Chophouse) Also worried about my wod not being the usual intensity, so maybe I should be cutting back on blocks this week.....anyone care to comment? This has been my most challenging day so far.
Dinner- I feel like I have redeemed myself a little- salad with lots of veggies, RW vinegar and a skoch (sp) of EVOO, 6 oz. filet- of which I actually left three bites- and steamed veggies. 3/4 c. of mixed grapes and mandarin slices.

my day was challenging, too. have been off work the past four days, and when off, i revert to my natural night owl schedule, so getting up at 7:30 this am was painful. wish i was a morning person! i had an incredibly hectic day at work--had to meet with donor for 3 grueling hours, so fell outta the zone. but you are doing super well for being away, which is an uber challenge. birdseed to you! i will write/post an about me on my blog, which will include the two masters. :)
ReplyDeleteYou are doing great, just being aware of the zone while you are away is a accomplishment. You are doing the best you can, don't beat yourself up! You rock! The workout this morning killed my hands. I wore the grips and everything, it sucks. My right hand is SORE as hell and I'm pretty pissed. I've gotta figure something out....
ReplyDeleteSee you soon!
