WOD: CrossFit Competition (btw. classes): 3 minutes of the following: Row for cals, Clean&Jerk, Burpees. Any order you like, with about 3 min. rest after each. Add totals, then take team (class) average. Go 6AM!!! I am making a huge shout out to my 6AM class for going Rx'd on everything! Way to be team! Nice work Liz, Mariel and Brennan!! Rx'd for girls was 63 lbs. on the C&J, 95 lbs. for dudes- more importantly, Rx'd burpees for everybody. It is time to step up, and 6AM did!! Our team score: 103. Me and Liz ran 1 mi. post wod.
Breakfast: chicken, peach, apple, almonds. What I think I see happening with my body is that the closer I am to complete Paleo, the more of a fruit tolerance I have...not sure if I am just making this up in my head, but it seems that since I have been going pretty tight on the Paleo foods I seem to be able to slowly add more fruit in to my meals. Today will be a great test, so I will report in after lunch!

Made it to lunch fine which is good news for me. I think I will still pay close attention to veggie/fruit ratios, but I feel good knowing that fruit can still be a part of it.
Lunch- salad with chicken, eggplant, brocc/cauli leftovers, red pepper, tomatoes. Added about 6B avacado. FYI: 1 Haas avacado (the small dark ones) is approx. 5-6 tbs....or 5-6B fat.

Din- industry dinner event tonight at Harborside. Gulf Citrus Growers' Assn. Expo Banquet- Pretty tedious, (I used to actually enjoy this thing) but you know banquet food is portioned right for zone! I'd say exactly 3 oz. steak, a small salad with lemon, some raw veggies, 3 olives.

ReplyDeleteNice work today girl! It was so weird working out by myself! I think people in the gym thought I was a little nutty, but whatever. I managed to work up a good sweat so that's all that matters! Keep killin' it, I'll check back with you soon!
ReplyDeleteA pecan half is equal to one gram of fat so 3 halfs equal one block. I usually don't eat them straight up like almonds... they are good broken up in fruit or chicken salad... nice change up from walnuts. Had Baramundi fish from Costco tonight (frozen fish)good source of Omega 3 and really tastey. The boys have not been crazy about the frozen fish but really liked this one... worth a try. Ha! Will and I were just talking bout his science fair project and going with his dad to get the stuff for it this weekend and he said NOT SAT cuz he is not missing the beach WOD... I love it... my little CrossFitters!
ReplyDeleteOlives are paleo but the problem is being able to find them not packed in a high sodium solution or other additives and preservatives... any suggestions... ADA's maybe?
