Well, the holiday started out ok but I fell out of the Zone! I was able to have a normal Zone breakfast within an hour of waking today: oatmeal & applesauce, deli chicken, lf yogurt, and 2 walnuts. The beach day was a total ball! I was prepped with Zone foods, and Paul and I hit those fairly well, chopped veggie salads, chicken, and fruit. After the beach, I caved! A protein bar (half of a Zone bar, half of an Adkins Advantage), one beer, and a zone serving of fruit with a little pool action. Next came about 6 hours of sleep! I totally crashed, woke up to fireworks and had a Zone snack of string cheese and a peach at 10:30 and went back to bed! Try to do better tomorrow!
