U.S. Air Force Security Forces 1st Lt. Joseph D. Helton, 24, of Monroe, Ga., assigned to the 6th Security Forces Squadron at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Fla., was killed September 8th, 2009, while on a mission near Baghdad, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle. Helton is survived by his mother, Jiffy Helton.

WOD: 'Baby Helton': 3 rds: run 400m, 20 DB HPCs @ 20lbs, 20 burpees.  20:16.  Here's a tidbit for you: I cannot even run a 400m without stopping for a few secs to catch my breath! My....how times have changed.  It is amazing how another little life growing inside of you can impact your body :) :) :)

Shout out to my girl MK for PRing on Fran this am- NICE WORK GIRL! :) Like old times, yes?

breakfast on this glorious Friday: 4 eggs scrambled, spinach salad w/ lemon, nutmeg, bit of sea salt, raspberries, a FEW green grapes, and walnuts.  Fantastic.
