January 3 and 4- Happy New Year!

Monday Jan 3

The day after turning 40.  Oddly, it feels absolutely the same ;)

WOD: 3 rds: run 400m, 20 OHS @ 45, 20 pull ups.  No issues with this one, the OHS were light so I got them unbroken.  Pulls are what took me the longest, of course.  28:25 or so....with a pee break in there!

home to breakfast- scrambled eggys and leftover collards.

Last day of official vacation.  So tired this morning!

10AM with Kim, my skin girl- brows done and a Birthday foot massage :) :) :)

LuLu's to register for a few things

home to a shake- protein, pumpkin, few frozen strawberries, coconut milk, water, ice

later, a t burger, red pepper, avocado

more collards late in the day, I think I am done with them after this....

Preggo Yoga tonight- it's good for me, I do feel better after.  Instructor likes to point out how tight I am in my shoulders, so we do lots of shoulder work.  Hey, I will take it.  She also commented on my being muscular, I said it was from all the pull ups.  I swear it is so different out 'there' amongst folks who have no clue about anything like CrossFit-

home to a few more eggys and greens.  OK, now I am done with them.  90% and ab.

Tuesday Jan 4

Up at 430AM. I am tired already, went down late due to Orange Bowl.  When it's Bowl Season, it is stillthe holidays in my mind.

handful walnuts and 1/2 cup black out the door.

WOD: Skills Day on Front Squats.  Supposed to only work up to 65lbs, but I went a bit further-
5x45, 2x5x65, 2x5x70, 2x5x75, 5x80, 5x75, 5x65.

scrambled eggys and ham, apple, walnuts, coffee.

Again, tired this morning. Am short on sleep.  I do not want to get in this rut to start the year!! Trying to get a bit of rest today at some point.

paleo pumpkin pancakes with ab around lunch time

turkey burger and a red pepper @ 230PM

trying to drink more water today...everyday.

  1. Thank you for the words :), glad to remind you @ the GY w/honey I have been relishing it AND bonus is it is an easy breakfast when you don't have time to cook... you could have some of those mornings, afternoons, evenings coming in the future ;) And I think Oscar is on the mend... very thankful to get her blood work back and all clear so fingers crossed that the antibiotics will clear up whatever is going on with her... it really did start in 2010 too!
